Most clinic websites present a list of conditions as though every one of them were equally suited to what happens inside the building. That is rarely true and it wastes people's time. The decision made at a first visit here is a simple one with three outcomes. Some problems are mechanical: a joint that has stopped moving, a disc under load, a tendon that never finished healing, a pelvic floor that lost its timing. Those are what this practice was built for, and they are treated without surgery and without prescriptions. Some problems are medical first: a fracture, an infection, a suspected tumour, progressive neurological loss, uncontrolled blood sugar, anything that changed suddenly and severely. Those get referred, promptly and without a course of care being sold first. The third group is the interesting one. Many people arrive with a condition that is genuinely medical, already diagnosed and already managed by a physician, who want help with the parts that food, movement, sleep and manual care actually influence. That is supportive work, it runs alongside their doctor rather than instead of them, and it is described that way on every page where it applies. Dr. Justin Bergin, DC has been in practice for 22 years and performs that triage himself at both offices. If your problem is not one for this practice, you will be told at the first visit rather than at the fifth.
