Chiromed Wellness Centers runs a mixed payment model. Chiropractic care bills insurance and our team verifies your benefits before your first visit. The regenerative, metabolic and sexual wellness lines are cash pay, with payment plans available for self-pay care.
Chiromed Wellness Centers runs a mixed payment model, and being straight about it is the point. Some of what we do bills insurance. Some of it does not, and never will. You find out which one applies to you before the plan starts, not at the desk on the way out.
What Bills Insurance and What Does Not
Chiropractic care at ChiroMed bills insurance. Our team verifies your benefits before your first visit, so the number you are quoted is the number based on your actual plan.
The regenerative, metabolic and sexual wellness lines are cash pay. That includes the joint and regenerative recovery work, the metabolic health and weight management programs and the sexual wellness services. They are not billed to insurance, at this practice or at most others that offer them. We would rather say that here than let you find out later.
Medicare
Coverage varies by plan and by service. Some chiropractic services are commonly covered under Medicare and many of the other services offered here are not. Rather than guess on your behalf, our front desk checks your specific plan and tells you exactly what applies before you commit to anything. Bring your card to the first visit and ask.
The New Patient Visit
New patients start with one appointment that covers the whole workup: Consultation, Exam, X-Rays (If Needed) & Report of Findings: Only $47. Dr. Justin Bergin, DC performs it himself. You leave that visit knowing what he found, what he recommends and what it would cost, before you have agreed to anything.
Payment Plans for Self-Pay Care
Payment plans are available for self-pay care. Ask the front desk which plan fits your course of care, because the answer depends on what Dr. Bergin has actually recommended for you rather than on a general policy.
Four things drive what a plan of care costs. Whether the visit is a chiropractic adjustment or a device protocol such as spinal decompression, Omniwave shockwave or Neuromed electroanalgesia. How long the plan runs. Whether imaging is part of the workup. And whether the service bills insurance or is cash pay.
Ask Before You Commit
Call Lakeland on (863) 940-3444 or Lady Lake on (352) 915-7150 and ask what your care would cost. It is a reasonable question and the front desk is used to answering it.
If you are still deciding whether this is the right kind of care at all, see which treatments we actually deliver before you worry about the bill.
Same-week appointments
Ask at the examination.
The plan and the cost are written down before anything begins.
