What we are near
We sit on the west side of South Florida Avenue, a few minutes south of Southgate Shopping Center and a short hop from Lakeside Village off Harden Blvd. The Polk Parkway, FL-570, is the fastest approach from the east or the north of the county. Patients come from Highland City, Christina, Grasslands, Highlands, Scott Lake, Dixieland and Cleveland Heights. The office is about 15 minutes from Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center and minutes from the Florida Southern College campus on Lake Hollingsworth. We are affiliated with neither. We serve the same streets, which is a different thing and the only claim we will make.

About our Lakeland office
This office is built for the working-age Polk County patient, and the caseload shows it. Crash injuries off the Polk Parkway. Lifting backs. Desk necks. Knees that have to hold up through a day on concrete. The question is almost always the same: how do I get back to work without losing a month to this? What answers it is hands-on chiropractic care from a Doctor of Chiropractic, examination first every time, backed by equipment most chiropractic offices in this city do not own. Dr. Justin Bergin, DC came to that approach the long way, having managed his own chronic pain and scoliosis, which is why this practice rejects the rushed-appointment model. One more thing worth saying plainly, because long-standing patients still ask: the practice at this address was formerly New City Chiropractic. Dr. Bergin took it on, renamed it, and added the decompression, shockwave, electroanalgesia and metabolic programs that were not there before.

If you reach the Highland City junction you have gone about a mile too far, so turn back north. Patients coming from Lakeside Village usually cut across on Harden Blvd instead.
